Antarctic Sailing Adventure

You can join the final expedition of the 2019/2020 Antarctica summer season onboard sailboat "Ocean Tramp", a 66 ft ketch-rigged sailboat, with 5 cabins. She comfortably carries 8 guests, plus three crew members and one scientist.

Damian Foxall (skipper), Niall MacAllister (first mate) and Lucy Hunt (Crew) - experienced Irish sailors and Marine Biologists, now known as "Team South".

On this final expedition of the season, you fly down from Punta Arenas to Antarctica, step onboard Ocean Tramp to explore Antarctica and then sail back across The Drake to the Falklands - 10th Feb– 29th Feb 2020 - see full schedule below.

Antarctica has something new to offer every day and the flexibility of a small yacht brings you close up to wildlife and the incredible landscape.

You will visit penguin colonies and watch many types of seals from the decks of Ocean Tramp, as well as explore from eye level with zodiac tours and kayaks. Plus, if the weather allows, anyone interested can sleep a night ashore! As you gently sail from ancorage to ancorage the humpback whales and orcas are incredible.
